Impressions

The number of impressions is an internet advertising term and is measured as the number of times that an advertisement is delivered (displayed).

Impressions often are assessed with 'clicks' which are the advertisements that are delivered and clicked.  The more impressions that are clicked, the higher the advertisement relevance and appeal.
