Keyword Ranking
Search engine ranking is based on the words or phrases submitted to the search engine by the user. The objective of any site therefore should be to obtain the best possible ranking by ensuring that the appropriate words and phrases are present on the page (in the appropriate context and at the correct frequency).
Search engines index the page not only on these words, but also n the locations and usage of the words on the page. The keyword ranking algorithm essentially searches the page for all occurrences of the keywords provided and ranks each words or word combination on where the words are used and how frequently these are used.
Tests are performed on the number of occurrences of each key word submitted. If the frequency of any keyword is too high, this is considered to be 'unnatural' and the keyword is flagged as potential a spam word. This is an important test because Google and Bing perform similar tests on keywords and sites may be penalised if any words are considered to be spam.

Link Assessment
The link ranking chart uses incoming and outgoing links found for the landing page to determine a percentage figure of merit value.
Incoming links are the links from an external site to your site. This value is approximate as it depends on the number of incoming links that are found by search engines. Outgoing links on the other hand are actual values extracted from the landing page. These may be directing traffic to other sites or to other pages on your site.

Readability Ranking
Readability is a measure of how easy it is to read and comprehend a document. A number of indices have been developed to assess the readability of a web page. These indices are measured and evaluated to generate a performance value for each web page submitted.
Webmaster guidelines advise that web pages should be easy to read, should contain novel contentent and should be free of spelling errors. Also, Guideline 14 of the Web Content Accessibility guide advises that documents should be clear and simple.
